Job Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in our client's distribution operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of inventory. In this position, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping a variety of electrical products to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accurate counts and condition of inventory.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store products.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring the correct items and quantities are fulfilled.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with the broader warehouse team to optimize workflow and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Proficient in the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions
