Industrial Maintenance Tech/Pneumatic Tool Repair
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented mechanically minded candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, including pneumatic tools. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong diagnostic abilities, and the capability to perform both in-house and field service support as needed. The candidate must be able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions Statement(s):
- Observes mechanical and electrical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Performs troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on pneumatic tools and related equipment.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Repairs or replaces defective components, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Supports field service activities, including product demonstrations and on-site troubleshooting when required.
- Picks, packs, and ships customer part and/or label orders.
- Picks, packs, and ships large Distribution Center orders.
Additional Essential Functions:
- Attendance/Punctuality: Consistently at work and on time; ensures responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
- Work Location: This role requires work to be performed on-site; remote work is not practical due to the hands-on repair, maintenance, and field service nature of the position.
